The Architects Council of New York was formed to provide a means of coordination, communication, and cooperation between and among the several architectural professional societies and associations within the five boroughs of the City of New York and to serve the members of the architectural profession and the community at large, as well as the associated architectural chapters and societies, to advance the standards of the architectural profession and to increase its service to society.
